Sprinkler/Water Fun

These so well captured photos really describe our summer. Landon LOVES to be outside. He is finger painting, writing with sidewalk chalk, coloring with markers and crayons and discovering many new bugs daily- crickets are his favorite of late. He is just thrilled with water, running through the sprinkler with mommy holding him and running through it, playing with his water table and his little buddies and "girlfriend" (I think she has many other admirers, as you can probably tell...what a cutie!). We are having a blast this summer- we know how to beat this summer heat- water!! (not too much though- we are recycling this water for our flower watering). :) Enjoy! ALL BOY

Testosterone is an amazing thing. Here is a photo pf my little man totally enthralled reading his daddy's book about Corvettes. He absolutely loves cars and trucks and even the movie "Cars"- he just watches little snippits of the movie and says "BHHHHMM" and then points and says, "TRUK!!". It is amazing to watch how his little man world unfolds... He loves sticks and bugs and often exclaims, "BU! BU" when he sees even a tiny crumb on the floor that resembles a bug. Another favorite are balls. I can get him to eat just about anything as long as I cut in into the shape of a ball. One more boy thing for sure is that he is a mommy's boy. That stuff they say about little boys and their mommies is so true- he has me wrapped around his little finger. How blessed am I.

Summer Fun

Just a quick update from a busy month of June...Landon loves playing in the water, running through the sprinker with me holding him (I think he likes watching me look like a crazy person), being outside as much as this HOT weather will allow, watching the turkey at the museum, looking for bugs, playing with his grandparents and aunts and uncles, playing with balls, chasing our cat Lilly, watching "Cars"- the movie with his daddy, playing hide and seek as long as we scare him good with our "BOO", cookies, cookie monster, raffie, paci and lots of mommy time! :)

Bye Bye Cookie

Today Landon made me laugh so hard. He loves to say "bye bye" to practically everything (anyone who leaves the room, water in the toilet, raffie when he leaves him in the crib, water down the drain, any item I put away, etc.). Tonight he was eating an animal cracker and started waving at his mouth. Then with a mouth full of cookies, he said, "Bye Bye" to the cookies he was eating. I started laughing so hard and he got that cute little smirk on his face, like, "I know I am cute". :)
